What is Baptism + Membership
For us, baptism is an outward sign of what Jesus has done in our inward hearts. It's a public declaration that we follow Him. And when we do it, we become part of the church family in a different way than before. We encourage you to start the journey by filling out the Spiritual Journey Worksheet. It is a great way to look back on what God is doing in your life and to get ready to share it with others.
We know this sounds like a weird way to talk about commitment (especially if you are new to this "church thing"), but Membership is really just our way of making our commitment clear. So together we know that in all the important ways, we share an understanding of what Jesus has done for us, and also what we're doing here together. We're all pulling in this same direction of following Jesus and making Him known in all we do.
