Meadows Bible Reading Plan
Starting a regular devotional habit of prayer and Bible Reading takes intentionality and partnership with others. Let's spur each other on to dive in to closer relationship with God. It is so amazing what the Holy Spirit can teach us as we read the bible individually. Join us as we build this habit. This year we will be reading through the Life of Jesus and the Early Church as we journey through the New Testament. Proud of you for taking this step!
Where can I get Access to the Meadows Bible Reading Plan?

2) Follow along Using the YouVersion App:
- Download the App in your App Store for Free
- Create an Account
- Click the Meadows Church YouVersion Group Link
- Make sure to make Meadows Church "My Church" at the top
- Click the Featured Plan and get started
What Does a Daily Devotional Look Like?
There are many different ways to connect with God. Here's a simple template that takes about 10 minutes:
1) Pray
a) Thank God for 10-15 things (God I thank you for...)
b) Ask for the Holy Spirit to open your mind and eyes to what
God wants to speak to you through your reading
2) Read the Text
3) Journal:
a) What stood out to you? What do you learn about God/
b) Consider asking a couple friends to start a Whatsapp chat for
with you. Share your observations, thoughts and what God is
teaching you. Then you can also read their comments and
encourage each other.
4) Prayer:
Lift up your requests, thoughts and feelings to God

On the YouVersion Plan, how do I Jump to the Date the Church is on?
- Click on the PDF large copy and look for the Plan day # of the current Calendar date (ie. Jan 15 = Day 8)
-On the YouVersion Plan, scroll over to one Plan day before the current one (ie. Day 7).
- Check off the reading for that day so it shows complete
- Tap the ... button in the top right corner
- Tap Catch-Me-Up and you're now tracking with Everyone Else.
- Your App will now highlight the date Everyone is tracking with.

What Happens if I Miss a Couple Days?
Building a habit takes time. If you're just starting, have grace for yourself. Our suggestion is to track with the current day the church is on. Read the day everyone else is tracking with and then if you have time, go back and reading the days you missed. Don't stress if you miss a day. We're proud of you for starting this wonderful habit.
